Lani Wilderness Fat Tire Biking

Winer wall tent camping in Maine... Experience the beauty and splendor of Maine winter from the comfort of our 16 x 24 foot wood stove heated wall tent set in Maine's North Western Mountains!  Explore back-country cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat tire mountain biking, see winter animal snow tracks and sightings, snowshoe assent up remote trails in the Bigelow Mountain range, or tour on privately set nordic ski tracks along the edge of frozen Flagstaff lake in the shadow of 4145 foot Bigelow Mountain. At night, although it may be 10 degrees below zero outside, we will eat fantastic home cooked meals with fresh baked bread and then sleep warm all night on comfortable cots next to a blazing hot wood stove!

If you would like the wilderness experience of setup and breakdown of the wall tent base camp, there is an option to arrive early on the first day to assist with "making camp" and again on the last day with "breaking camp". We will be making our excursions each day from the wall tent base camp, staying for two nights. Trips are supported by snowmobile to carry in wall tent and camping gear, personal gear and to set nordic track.
