How to Pay for Your River Trip

We take old school personal and bank checks in the mail. Please make checks payable and send to:

We also have a Venmo account and use Square for our credit card users. Please note with credit cards we do pass the 3% service charge to you. Please call us to make payments by Venmo or credit card (207) 280-1551.

A $500 per person deposit is required to reserve a trip or a spot on a trip. Your balance may be paid anytime up till due date which is 30 days prior to trip departure. 

5 and 7 Day Allagash Trips

7 Day ALLAGASH WILDERNESS WATERWAY — EAGLE LAKE to ALLAGASH VILLAGE

Our 7 day Allagash trips are full of variety, we begin on Eagle Lake, one of the beautiful headwater lakes of the Allagash. Here we sharpen our paddling skills for Class II whitewater of Chase Rapids, followed by the lower lakes, meandering river and beautiful Allagash Falls. See Maines' wildlife in their natural surroundings, beautiful sunsets, and campsites on Maine's premier canoeing adventure trip!  7 day trip.

5 Day ALLAGASH WILDERNESS WATERWAY — CHURCHILL LAKE to ALLAGASH VILLAGE: 5 days:

Our 5 day Allagash trip skips the headwater lakes and starts at Churchill dam.  After some paddling instruction and practice we begin the trip with Class II whitewater of Chase Rapids, followed by the lower lakes, meandering river and beautiful Allagash Falls. See Maines' wildlife in their natural surroundings, beautiful sunsets, and campsites on Maine's premier canoeing adventure trip!

7 and 5 DAY Adult Only Trip (18+) ALLAGASH WILDERNESS WATERWAY — CHURCHILL DAM and EAGLE LAKE to ALLAGASH VILLAGE:

See above discription of these trips but adult only. Fall trips features cooler weather, shorter days, less bugs and people on the river! Later trip will encounter some fall foliage.

JUNIOR TEEN TRIP (Ages 12-15) Allagash Lake region - 5 days

Looking for some epic adventure? Join Registered Maine guide and World Cup Downhill ski racer Sam Morse for an extraordinary adventure on the Allagash!  This trip is an adventurous, educational and exciting wilderness canoe camping experiance for your teen! Join us on our “teen trip,” where kids learn to cook before an open fire, canoe, and live in the woods while exploring and hiking in the great north Maine woods. Excellent trip for the adventurous teen! (Price includes food, transportation, all road & waterway fees).

ST. JOHN RIVER: 6 days

The St. John offers 110-130 miles of class I-III rapids through Maine's most remote and beautiful wilderness. It is the longest and wildest free-flowing river left in the eastern U.S., the upper St. John is flanked by woodland rich in wildlife and in native and logging history. Our May trip is usually bug free and full of the signs of early spring, with cold water and long days!

BONAVENTURE RIVER (Includes 11 hour drive from Greenville to the river and 8 hour drive back): 7 Days

    The Bonaventure River flows out of the Chic Choc Mountains of the Gaspé Peninsula in the provence of Quebec, and its upper course cuts swiftly through hillsides, producing a surprise around every corner. Its remarkable, crystal-clear water and cobblestone river bed combine with forested banks to produce deep emerald green color as the river hurries to meet the sea. We follow this trip with a hike in the Chic Choc Mountains with chances to see caribou above the timberline. This trip is for the hardy canoeist with very good whitewater skills. Trip needs 4 person minimum. All inclusive $2500.00

WEST BRANCH PENOBSCOT RIVER TRIP: 5 Days

The upper West branch Penobscot trip is great for beginners and families. Paddle Thoreau's legendary trip into the north Maine woods, enjoy beautiful sunsets, campsites, and wonderful views of Mt Katahdin. *Adults $1500.00 *Kids $1350.00

ST. CROIX RIVER TRIP - 5 Days

This trip features an abundance of easy whitewater, scenic campsites and beautiful sunrises on glacial lakes. The rapids are exhilarating, but not intimidating. Excellent smallmouth bass fishing! 5 person minimum,

NORTHWOODS SKILLS WORKSHOP - 3 days

Contact us for dates that work for you in the spring or fall.

Staying at Grand Falls Hut (Maine Huts & Trails) or large heated wall tent, includes canoe poling instruction/cruise on Spencer Stream, open fire cooking and reflector oven baking, campsite preparation, whitewater paddling on the Dead River and more!

$1200/person all meals and lodging included - 4 person minimum.


CUSTOM CANOE TRIPS 2024 

Our schedule permitting, we can reserve a trip on dates of your choice and itinerary. If you open your trip to others and give us several months’ notice, scheduled trip rates may apply.

Rates are based on a 5 person minimum at $375/person per day for 1 - 4 day trips and $350/person per day for 5 - 7 day trips. Longer trips and groups of 8 or more, represented by one person, will be eligible for a discounted rate, especially in May, June or September.  See description of our scheduled trips above to start planning your adventure.
