Payment & Cancellation Policies

STANDARD TRIP POLICIES

A deposit of $500 per person is required to make a reservation more than 60 days before trip departure. Balance is due

60 days before trip departure. Payment-in-full is required for late sign-ups (those who register within 60 days of trip departure). Prices include Maine waterway fee, road access fee, transportation to and from the river, food and all equipment necessary for the trip. *Kids pricing is considered for age 15 and under.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR SCHEDULED TRIPS: Cancellations over 90 days before trip departure: Full deposit refund minus a $25 cancellation charge or apply 100% to another trip within 2 years. 90 to 60 days before trip departure: deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to another trip within two years. Cancellations within 60 days of trip date: 50% of trip cost will be charged and the remaining 50% is non-refundable but may be applied to another trip within two years.

CUSTOM TRIP POLICIES

Pricing for our custom trips vary. Typically  2-5 day trips are $325.00/person/day.

6-8 day trips are $300.00/person/day. Rates are based on a 5-person minimum, and price includes waterway, camping and road fees.  For groups of 7 people or more, or off season trips, contact us for discounts.

CUSTOM TRIP RESERVATIONS: Available dates may be reserved with a deposit of $500 per person. Payment-in-full or balance due is required 90 days before trip departure.

* Allagash Canoe Trips reserves the right to cancel a trip at any time. Although this rarely occurs, 100% of the amount paid to Allagash Canoe Trips will be refunded. Allagash Canoe Trips encourages you to purchase your own TRIP INSURANCE that is intended to cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, lost luggage, flight accident and other losses incurred while traveling.
