SCHEDULED MAINE TRIPS 2012 SCHEDULED TRIP RESERVATIONS A deposit of $200 per person is required to make a reservation more than 30 days before trip departure. Balance is due 30 days before trip departure. Payment-in-full is required for late sign ups (those who register within 30 days of trip departure). Prices include Maine waterway fee, road access fee, transportation to and from the river, food and all equipment necessary for the trip.

Custom Trips - 2012 Maine & Canadian Trips Our schedule permitting, we can reserve a trip on dates of your choice. If you open your trip to others and give us several months notice, “Scheduled Trip” rates may apply. If you want to limit the size of your group, you may be asked to pay a higher rate, depending on party size. Custom Rates quoted below are for a minimum of 5 adults and include transportation. Groups of less than 5 adults will have to pay a higher fee per person. Groups of 10 or more, represented by one person, maybe eligible for a discounted rate, especially in May, June or September. Below, and to the right, are a few trip suggestions. Let us know your needs as far in advance as possible. Custom Trip Reservations & Cancellation Policy CUSTOM TRIP RESERVATIONS: Available dates may be reserved with a deposit of $300 per person. Payment-in full or balance due is required 60 days before trip departure. CANCELLATION POLICY FOR CUSTOM TRIPS: Cancellations over 60 days before trip departure: deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to another trip within three years. Cancellations within 60 days of trip date: 50% of trip cost will be charged and the remaining 50% is non-refundable but may be applied to another trip within three years.
WEST BRANCH PENOBSCOT CANOEING/BIRD HUNTING:4 Days. This trip incorporates our traditional wilderness canoe trip with opening season "ruffed grouse" hunting. This is a unique opportunity to travel with paddle and hunt the land as early frontier men did. (please note: you must have a 2012 maine hunting license, your own firearm & ammunition, and two selections of "hunter orange" to wear). Bird dogs welcome.	$525

BONAVENTURE RIVER: Or other Gaspe rivers. 6 days: The Bonaventure river flows out of the Chic Choc Mountains of the Gaspe Peninsula, and its upper course cuts swiftly through hillsides, producing a surprise around every corner. Its remarkable, crystal-clear water and cobblestone river bed combine with forested banks to produce deep emerald green color as the river hurries to meet the sea. We follow this trip with a hike in the Chic Choc mountains with chance to see caribou above timberline. This trip is for the hardy canoeist with good whitewater skills.	$975 Each

Although it rarely happens, Allagash Canoe Trips reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate enrollment, safety, or due to forces of nature beyond our control. In such cases, we will fully refund your trip fee, but cannot be responsible for other costs you may have incurred. TRANSPORTATION: For Maine trips our rates include transportation from Greenville to the river and back. For plane and bus travelers, we can pick you up in Bangor the day BEFORE your trip begins and return you there at the end of the trip. Bangor shuttle fee: $80, two or more $40 each.
